what I've done lately

Recently I have been back in design bussiness. I while ago wasnt really inspired and willing to put much effort in digital art and design, but after I made my new website things started to be a bit brighter. I got a new project with a modeling agency and I reastablished my contact with an old client. I got some new designs online too, you can always check my deviantart page for new pieces.
My portfolio book:
A few weeks ago I got my portfolio book that I am going to use for my next art-education.
The result became very nice and the pictures were very well printed. (credits: myalphapicture) I may upload some pictures of it later.

Books:
Another new passion of mine is reading. Well, not just reading. More the creating of a own magical world in your own mind. Since a few weeks I am a huge fan of J.R.R Tolkien(r.i.p). My mother read the books many times when she was young, and she told me lots of things about them. And since I have a pretty big imagination these books always seem to attract me. I really like magical world, with fogotten places, old wizzards, races and folks with heavy wars and a lot of passion. I began with the last book of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and before that I read "The Hobbit" after I finished "the return of the king" Im going to read "the Simillarion" and after that there are still dozens of books by Tolkien that contain extra story's, tales and history about Middle-Earth and The Undying Lands.


Music:
My big hobby and addiction has been music, it made me design again too, and it will allways be a big inspiration for me. Because I make many new contacts over the internet I get many questions. Many people ask me what is my favourite music, well for once I will make a good explanation of my taste for music. I dont think you can put music in separate styles, ofcourse there are things you like and things you dont. But what I like is real music, what I mean with that is that real music is (by my opinion) that the maker of the piece delivers his meaning feelings and message with the music. I dont like easy music, like hardcore, folkmusic etc. Music is a very complicated concept and I think that its not that quick made as the styles I just listed. But the real meaning of music is that you can lose yourself in it and find your own style. So I can never say that harcore is not music because of my personal taste, music is music. Your taste is yours and if you like it, who am I to say you cant. And not only for me but for many more people mysic add's something extra to life.
